Last weekend we celebrated wifey’s birthday! Mother-in-law was kind enough to take the kiddos overnight so we did a local overnight trip to D.C.. We had a great time spending undistracted time together talking, walking, eating yummy food and we also watched Fireproof.
I came away from this weekend thinking how times like these are so important for us because we so easily get caught up in the whirlwind of busy schedule, work, life, taking care of the kiddos etc. It was great to pause and just enjoy each other and remind ourselves how blessed we are to have each other.
