Few days ago I had few of my friends over for a little beginner’s photography 101 workshop. Trust me, I know I’m no master photographer but three of my friends just happened to ask me if I could teach them how to take better photos all within a matter of three days. So I thought, I’ll just have all of them over at the same time, go over some basic things and make it a fun get together. And fun it was.
I taught them how to pick up their camera, take the lens cap off and turn it on. Haha! j/k.
We talked about composition, ISO, aperture, shutter speed, white balance and seeing and using the available light in whatever environment you’re in.
I wish we had more time because it was a lot of fun and it would have been nice to go outside to take some photos. But we’ll just have to wait until next time.
I really enjoyed sharing what I know and a lot of what I know really is what I learned from others. So I’m just humbled that my friends would ask me to help them and so I am happy to share.
I hope everyone else had fun and learned at least one thing that helped take better pictures.
Thanks wifey, Mark, Hye Joon, Annabel and Hemi!
Here are some photos from our time!
