Seabrook Island, SC : Vacation Part 1

Last week we took a week long family vacation down in lovely Seabrook Island, South Carolina. My mom, sister’s family, brother’s family and us. 7 adults, and 7 kids. Vacationing with kids isn’t as relaxing as a honeymoon, but it’s still a lot of fun and great to get away to the beach! There are a lot of pics so I’ll break the posts up in maybe three.

We headed down a day later than everyone else because of girly’s b-day party. We needed an extra day to get ready and pack. Apparently all we missed was seeing a baby shark coming up to the beach.

We found out what normally would be about an 8 hour drives turns into a 9 1/2 hour drive with a baby who needs milk and a kid who no longer wears a diaper. All in all the kids did great in a long car drive!

This was by far one of the highlights for little girly…playing Cinderella.

Next post: Fun in the water!

David Burke - Ha! Is that a Hammerhead??? I got bumped by a shark in Cape Hatteras, NC back in 1995. SCARY!!! Apparently we were surfing in Shark Infested waters unknowingly. LOL…. I wondered why it was so beautiful and nobody was around but us knuckleheads.

See you soon!July 18, 2008 – 10:48 pm
