The Best Camera : iPhone App

The iphone really does have an amazing camera and when we went away last week to the beach for a couple days I totally forgot to bring my camera. But I did have my iphone with me and I ended up getting some really nice images with it.

Chase Jarvis just released an awesome camera iphone app and I needed to share it with you.

It’s called the Best Camera. You can edit photos and the editing filters are quality. It’s also so easy to share it on facebook and or twitter. Trust me. I said I’d never pay for an iphone app but this one was well worth it. Watch these videos to find out more about it and get more info on Chase’s blog.

I’m so amazed at technology these days and this one blows my mind! If you have a webcam, try it!

Ordination Sunday

A good friend Joe Lee along with four other pastors from our church got ordained this past Sunday and it was a joyous day.

Andy Alonso and I had the privilege of shooting the Ordination. I also prepared a little slideshow on our church’s blog with the images we captured so go check it out!

My buddy Dre just started a photography blog . So go check it out and give him some love. I’m trying to get him to use Canon but he’s being stubborn and won’t listen. Haha! I still love him though.

I also put up a slideshow on my earlier post of Mel and Drew’s wedding so check it out here. It was my first time using Showit Web and it’s pretty cool.

Uganda : Well water!

Praise God!
One of our singles ministry pastor Isaac led a group of people from our church and went on a missions trip to Uganda back in January. One of the things they learned while they were there was that the town of Kiburara, where they stayed didn’t have clean water. They were told it would cost about $20,000 to build a well to provide clean water for the town. You’ll see and hear in the video how unclean the water is and how it causes diseases that affects the people.

Here comes the great news! After the trip the singles ministry team raised over $40,000 just in a couple months and now a well is built! You can read a little more about it here.

I didn’t get to go on the trip but I had the honor of putting this video together which was used to help raise the funds. The awesome photos in the video are taken by Chavia who went on the trip!
