Couple weeks ago a friend from Apple called me with an opportunity to speak about photography at the Bethesda Row Apple Store. I’m thinking to myself ‘What?!? Sounds great but I’m not a veteran in the business!’
I was humbled that he even asked me, but after hearing more about the upcoming event it sounded like a great opportunity to share so I agreed to do it. And let me be honest. I love Apple products. My finger tips are touching Apple products pretty much all day…and even right now as I type
This FREE event “Shooting from the Heart” is for aspiring photographers who love photography, or photographers thinking or wanting to start a photography business. The topics I’d like to cover are some basics of photography, photographing weddings, and the power of networking in the photography business.
Although these are what I plan on discussing I don’t want to waste your time, so majority of my talk will largely depend on who shows up and what you’d like me to share.
I’m so grateful for all my good friends in this business who’s helped me and others along the way and are still helping. In the same way I’d love to be a help to you, even in a small way so please consider coming.
Friday, September 25 at 6:30pm – 7:30pm
Bethesda Row Apple Store: 4860 Bethesda Avenue Bethesda, MD 20814
If you know anyone who might be interested in this event please pass on the information.
Also, It’ll be great to know who’s coming so feel free to leave a comment to let me know!
Fellow photographer friends! I’d love for you to come and support too! And you get to play with Apple toys and check out the cool store. The store moved so it’s huge and it’s in a really cool location too. We can even go hang out after the event.
There are other photography events going on that day at the store so visit their website for more details here. Click on 9/25 on the calendar for details.
Below is a screen grab from the website.
*Thanks to Paul who opened up the opportunity! Be sure to check out Paul Barrios Photography blog here.
